BAROLO
The King
Faithful to
its history and tradition, Barolo occupies a place of honor among the wines
produced at Serradenari: a true king surrounded by its court.
Nebbiolo vines for the production of Barolo are plantedover an area of 4.9
acres in sun-drenched, south-southwesterly land. Planting density is 7.5
feet by 2.6 feet.
The vines have been selected from three different clones in order to adapt
them to the vineyard's varying conformations and altitudes.
The great care that is taken in selecting only the best grapes means that
yield can vary from vintage to vintage. Ageing takes place in 132-gallon
casks for a maximum production of 10,000 bottles a year. |
